Christmas 2010

I can't believe Christmas has already come and gone. This year has flown by, it seems just like yesterday that Ian and I were opening presents in our living room at 4:30 in the morning last Christmas and after that, going to prepare and deliver meals to those who didn't have a family to celebrate with. Even though we were completely exhausted, we decided that is something we would like to start doing every Christmas. Christmas is not just about receiving gifts, it is about giving to those who have less. As much as I wished I was able to do the same this year, I wasn't able to make it, but I am hoping next year Olivia and I can. Olivia received lots of fun toys, books, and clothes but didn't really realize what was going on. This Christmas was difficult without Ian here with us, but we all know he was celebrating with us in spirit. He made sure I knew that and made sure Olivia knew it as well. He is my sunshine, my lighthouse in the storm and my angel, and always will be. I love you babe :] Ps, here are a few pics from Christmas 2010.

Latest...

I guess I am not very good at updating my blog like most people. Maybe I will make a better effort in updating every so often. There have been some pretty significant events happen the past couple of months. Olivia's first thanksgiving was not the typical, traditional turkey day, we spent it at the Grand America Hotel. They have a FANTASTIC buffet. Though many were missing from our Thanksgiving celebration this year, we tried to enjoy it. On December 5th, Olivia was blessed. My dad flew from Japan to step in for Ian, to bless our baby girl. The blessing was amazing and there wasn't a dry eye in the room. Even though Ian wasn't physically there with us, I know he was there, in the circle blessing our daughter. The feeling was so strong. As hard as the days are, life keeps going. I have began to find peace once again. I miss him everyday, but he was my angel while he was here physically and he is my angel still. I love you boy, we miss you <3

I half wink at you :]

All smiles
